In conjunction with the 9th anniversary celebration of our continuous services to the community, the
Lions Club of Penang Island New Century will be organizing a Charity Haircut event in 1st Avenue
Mall Penang on 17th June 2012 (Sunday), from 10:00am – 9:00pm. The Co-organizer for this
charitable event is ‘The School – International Hair Academy’, a renowned hair and makeup academy
centre in Malaysia.
The Charity Haircut 2012 – All About Love is an altruistic event aimed to raise funds for under
privileged students from 3 selected schools in Penang, namely Phor Tay High School, Chung Ling
High School and Union High School. All net proceeds collected through the project will be equally
divided and donated to the above-mentioned schools. Lions Club of Penang Island New Century has
in the past conducted numerous community projects, ranging from simple ones such as children
movies day, ring tab collection and charity auto fair to elaborate ones such as charity concert and
fund raising for catastrophic events.
