Children’s "Movie Day” Press Conference
Organised by New Century Lions CLub of Penang Island

This is our Club Second Outing Project with the Children in this fiscal year. After a successful First Outing Project took the Children to having diner Mc Donald and Having Funs in the Theme Park at last month Aug 2010, our BOD decided to do the Second Outing Children Project at OCT 2010 and target beneficial Children up to 155 pax from 4 difference Children Homes and Centre.

We have done a Press Conference which the Articles have been Publish in Local New Paper.

We have a good press conference to urge public do for thier kind donation for this project. The main purpose is to create an awareness to the publics and young generations there are still have some unfortunate children need to be cares and support from Us.

"Give Us A Smile"

"Give Us A Smile" Fun Fair Outings with Children

10th Sep 2010
Jointly organized by Lions Club of Penang Host, New Century Lions Club of Penang Island, Leo Club of Penang City, Leo Club of Convent Dato Keramat and Leo Club of Chung Ling High School.

Our Program started at 6pm at Queens Bay Mall, having diner together with the Children from the Children Protection Centre at Mc Donald. After the Diner We took them to the HAPPY FUN PARK to enjoy the Theme Park Games.

The project was successfully end at 10pm, and we have Group Photo together at the Entrence of the Park. The Children are very enjoy and having funs for very moment at the parks. It was a very successful project that we did full fill our Goals to give them a Smile in their Life time.

Kick off Ceremony by YB Koay Teng Hai, VDG1 Shawn and VDG2 Tan SK.

Conferment Officer VDG1 Shawn Lee confer YB Koay Teng Hai as Honorary Member for New Century Lions Club of Penang Island.
RCC Ong Lai Peng as a Sponsor pin up Lion Lapel Pin for YB Koay Teng Hai.
President Kelvin Lor handling over the Club Vest to YB Koay Teng Hai.
Membership Kit and Certificate presentation by Conferment Officer VDG1 Shawn Lee to YB Koay Teng Hai.

Souvenir was given by OC to YB Koay, VDG1 Shawn and DP Eliza Chia.
Cheque of RM500 donated to Yee Ran Jing Sheh Handicapped Children's Home from Lions Club of Penang Host, New Century Lions Club of Penang Island, Leo Club of Penang City, Leo Club of Chung Ling High School and Leo Club of CDK.

Region 1 Lions Clubs Peace Poster Contest

Venue:New World Park, Burma Road, Penang.

Peace Poster Contest was carried out at 29th Aug 2010 at New World Park, Penang Malaysia.
Total 120 contestants participate the contest. 16 Lions Club in Region 1 Jointly organized.
Our Club Attendence : Lion Incharge Khoo Teng Ju, RCC Lion Ong Lai Peng, Sec. Lion William Hoe, Tre. Don Hoe and President Kelvin Lor.
